6 weeks on Fridays, January 10 - February 14, 9:30 - 11 am, in a private studio in South Nyack.
To make this accessible to all, I’m offering the workshop at a “pay what you can” rate
Each participant will have the opportunity for two 30-minute individual consultations scheduled at their convenience.
This workshop is a thoughtful guide to parenting, grounded in positive guidance and strong connection, with tools and examples that are easy to apply at home.
One of my biggest takeaways was realizing that unwanted behaviors are just the tip of the iceberg—real change starts with strengthening our connection as a family.
We’ve already seen some transformation. We set up systems around things that used to cause daily friction—like cleaning up after dinner and breakfast choices—and we’ve seen real changes in behavior. One small but powerful example: instead of arguing every morning about cereal, we brought it to a family meeting and agreed on two cereal days per week. No more conflict.
I’m more confident now, and this series helped me reflect on what I was already doing while offering new ideas that truly work. I’d strongly encourage anyone to join, whether you’re new to this or have already read a lot about parenting—the hands-on experience and practical tips make a real difference.
A mother of two (ages 4.5 and 1.5)
The workshop series was thought-provoking, illuminating, and structured in a clear and effective manner.
I was surprised by how quickly I saw positive changes after applying the strategies. I’m more aware of my reactions and how they affect my children, and I’m responding with greater mindfulness and calm.
This series helped me better understand my children’s perspective and reflect more deeply on my parenting.
Jessica, mother of three (ages 5, 2, and newborn)
This workshop offered a comprehensive toolkit for navigating parenting challenges with confidence and empathy. Maskit has a deep understanding of child development. Her place feels like a very safe and homey environment, and participants were encouraged to ask questions, share their own experiences, and engage in group discussions.
The tools provided have already proven effective in my daily interactions with my children. I highly recommend it to all parents!
Edith, mother of three (ages 6, 4, 2)
Maskit has such wisdom and knowledge when it comes to parenting. I applied the techniques she taught, and my kids have been calmer and more connected to me. I highly recommend working with her, it will make your life simply more enjoyable.
