I am a psychotherapist and parent educator with extensive experience as a middle and high school educator. My goal is to guide families and create environments where youth thrive and caregivers feel both confident and supported.
In my work with caregivers, I focus on offering encouragement and teaching effective tools for raising cooperative, capable children—helping to prevent crises later in life. I am particularly passionate about addressing the effects of technology on child development and family relationships, recognizing the vital importance of meaningful interactions in today’s digital age.
Youth benefit from support in identifying their strengths and needs. Together, we may work on developing relational and communication skills, improving executive function, implementing stress-reduction strategies, and more.
Inspired by Individual Psychology, my integrative approach draws on training in CBT, DBT, PEERS, Positive Discipline, Non-Violent Communication, Comprehensive Health Education, and Mind, Brain, and Teaching (MBT).
I provide psychotherapy services under supervision at CANDLE Rockland and offer consultations and classes for parents and youth throughout the tri-state area and online. I also regularly facilitate community conversations about the importance of family connections and the challenges posed by technology in our daily lives.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that promote healthy family dynamics and support caregivers in navigating the challenges of modern parenting.
