I am a psychotherapist and parent educator with extensive experience as a middle and high school educator. My passion lies in supporting youth and parents as they navigate challenges, enhance well-being, and strengthen their connections.
Youths benefit from support in identifying their strengths and needs. Our work together may include developing relational and communication skills, improving executive functions, implementing strategies for stress reduction, and more.
In my work with caregivers, I focus on providing encouragement and practical tools for raising cooperative and capable children, thereby reducing the likelihood of preventable crises later in life. I am particularly passionate about addressing the effects of technology on child development and family relationships, recognizing the critical need for meaningful interactions in today’s digital age.
Inspired by Individual Psychology, my integrative approach incorporates elements from my training in CBT, DBT, PEERS, Positive Discipline Parenting, Non-Violent Communication, Comprehensive Health Education, and Mind, Brain, and Teaching (MBT).
I provide psychotherapy services under supervision at CANDLE Rockland and offer consultation and classes for parents and youth at various locations throughout the tri-state area and online. I regularly facilitate community conversations about the importance of family connections and the challenges posed by technology in our daily lives. My mission is to empower families and foster environments where youth can thrive and caregivers feel confident and supported.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that promote healthy family dynamics and support for parents in navigating the challenges of modern parenting.
